    1800uf 16v to 1500uf 16v, work?

I have been reading and TopCat has said that he has had no problem changing them that were 6.3v. I'm sure it would be same? This is an HP mobo with one bulged 1800uf 16v cap by the gpu. A couple of 6.3v 1000uf caps in the same area are bulged too. I have a new Rubycon 1500uf 16v if it will work or a Nichicon 2200uf 16v and I have the proper 1000uf caps.

This. I've done it on the VRM high before with no ill effects. As long as you use Rubycon MBZ or MCZ series, you will be fine.
I love putting bad caps and flat batteries in fire and watching them explode!!

No wonder it doesn't work! You installed the jumper wires backwards
