[HP-NX7300] LCD/VIDEO Issue

Model: HP Business Notebook NX7300
Problem: No video on internal LCD

Strange problem, i tried to hook up external monitor and magic happens, the svga video out work fine.

Tried also another hp screen+new cable+new panel+new inverter,same problem the lcd panel just bright on for few seconds,then is blank/black,dead, the svga out is fine.

Maybe a problem to circuitry driving lcd video out?

It not seems to me a problem related to infamous bga issue.

Any toughts?

I suggest you try to reflash the bios. You can do this with a usb on boot or directly from .exe files from HP on windows using that external monitor.

working only on external is just a sign of bad gpu ball

try to heat up gpu to 120c, attach cooling and start it
