I need help on this acer a315 DA0ZASMB8D0 REV.The problem with this one it came to me as no display, so i open the laptop and find out burnt mosfet near processor area AO6414A so i replaced the mosfet with new one now no lghts i removed the mosfet and check outside it became short, so I checked the pads , i noticed the gate is shorted to ground,anyone can help me on this please, i have attached schematic and pic on the location of the mosfet the mark read is the gate shorted

Can you provide details of which mosfet you are referring to in the schematic?
These are cpu power rails which are normally low resistance rails.
Does your meter have a lower as resistance scale? Use it for these checks. It appears you have 3 ohms to ground which may be too low and be considered a shorted CPU but wait on other replies to this thread.

Look for the PU2 RT3662ACGQW controller and check which pin the AO6414A gate is connected to.Don`t apply any power to the board.Last edited by SMDFlea; 03-18-2022, 04:28 AM.
