Samsung 5064 Plasma flex cable problem

ha guys
i bought 5064 plasma the other day.they said it just stopped working
so i took there word. got it home and found out it had a Y-buffer flex cable
broken. has any body attamped to fix one. I'm looking for a flex cable to get a longer peace to solder it back on
nobody wants to give me a crack screen so i can try to get one off of it
does any body know if you can buy them

If the tv does work you won`t even miss the top part of the screen or bottom.

I think that is a no-fix.

The best you could do with that is leave it off.

The tv should still work unless they turned it into a dead tv or it happened while someone was working on it and it took out the fuse on the y drive.

I would be looking for another tv to try and repair.

Yeah that is toast. You shouldn't waste your time trying to fix it.
