thanks!
nb. the file name for the GD25Q128C image refers to 700 pages usage and not setting the Page setting to 700 in AsPropgrammer.
Many thanks guys!

Re: Canon PIXMA MG5650 dump
Hi guys, After my printer packed up (ink absorber full) I thought I would try and fix it.
Thought I had the right software but didn't and it locked me out of service mode.
That's when I happened to stumble across this topic
So I purchased a CH341A & downloaded AsProgrammer. Managed to flash the MX25CL1636 without any problems but the GD25Q128C is giving me no end of bother.
I cant get it to work at all, It wont detect or flash, Sometimes it looks like it is doing something but then just locks up.
Strangely sometimes it appears to read but the resulting file is blank. I have tried AsProgrammer, CH241A Programmer & NeoProgrammer.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Canon PIXMA MG5650 dump
Hi All, I have come across a MG5650 card which has SIP chips which are marked differently to the firmware dump files above.
Do I need the correct chip dumps for these chips or should the above dumps work? (they dont appear to but could be another issue). They seem to programme OK but the card will not initialise.
The chips are marked 25Q16CVSIG & 25Q128FVSG
Any pointers much appreciated !Last edited by ivanh; 01-12-2021, 08:30 AM.
