I got two dell laptop psu for free a few days ago i meassured them and they seem 'ok' but there is some issue with the identification circuit in them
it have an normal 'dc-plug' in the end except it has an outer metal connection 'plate' and an inner 'ring inside it' minus at the outer and the inner has the 19.5V on it then you have an metal pin that i assume shall have a few volts so the bios in the laptop can identify the psu model the connector looks like this (cutted in half):
The ic im suscpect to be bad is labeled: Dallas 2501031C4257AB
