Samsung LN46D630M3F, TV powers on, sound works but no backlight

    As you can see, the circuit is very sensitive (Triming the 38.8K with 2M resistor) and they set the output Voltage by trimming the Total resistance of two resistors, so as long as you get the output Voltage to be around 380~390V range then you will be OK, i would try to get the resistance toward higher Value than lower value. What is the next up value of 38K 1% available at digikey?

      As a single resistor, there are 38,3k 1% available. If I use resistors in parallel I can go with 56,2k with a 118k for a total of 38 068 ohm.

              Any update on this havin the same problem. Picture sound good just no backlight. Inverter is good.

                Resoldring the joints fixed my problem. For backlight now working tv good so far.

                  Resoldering bad connections has worked only for a few days. Problem is back again. Any update in regards the solution for this.
