Hi guys! I have a faulty RX 5700 Pulse which has no 1.8V. I want to repair it, because the gpu is 100% functional. Interestingly, I had the same problem a few months ago with this card. I worked a lot diagnosing and "repairing" the card (I replaced 2 caps and 2 resistors at the 1.8v line, but nothing changed). After a few weeks, I was measuring the voltages when I noticed that the gpu is hot. I plugged the card into my pc, and it worked fine. I wasnt able to believe its working. I used the card for 3 weeks and I decided to sell it. Unfortunetaly, when the buyer bought the card, the card was not working. He returned it to me, and it has the exact same problem.
Voltages present : 12V, 5V, 3.3V
Missing voltages : 1.8V, 0.9V, 0.75V, Vcore, Memory, Mem controller
I measured the card again, and it doesnt have 1.8v pgood, so I decided to change that buck converter which is an AREK043 (maybe an MPS nb685agq, I couldnt identify it exactly). I replaced it with an AREF946 (Mps nb685a), still nothing. There is a resistor which has a 3.3V side and the other should be the pgood which is not present. If I inject 1.8v to this side (pgood side) of the resistor, tha card has 1.1V at soc, 1.1vcore, 1.35 memory, and others. Thats why I know that the pgood itself is my problem.
Any idea what to do? The resistors at the 1.8V line seem to be good, I dont know how to restore this pgood.
Thanks for you help!
