    Abit BH6
    BH6-0K v1.02

    My old reliable. What can I say this board was good to me, but ABIT was not!
    This board ran 24/7 for 4 years.

    Materials list:

    1000uF 6.3V (6) Jackcon
    1000uF 10V (5) Tayeh
    470uF 16V (2) Jackcon
    100uF 16V (14) Jackcon
    10uF 25V (10) Jackcon

    Did you recap this board? If so, did it work? I have the same board with swollen and leaking capacitors next to the cpu slot. Computer often freezes. Thanks.

      Easy board to recap. Asking Jackon caps to run 24/7 for 4 years is asking a lot! Throw some Rubycon MBZs and/or Panasonic FMs in there and the board will be like new.
      These older boards had lead solder as opposed to the ROHS stuff, so they are a lot easier to de-cap. Also easy to get at all the caps and traces are sturdier. Get a good iron like a Hakko 936 and give it a try.
