I have ASUS X540S laptop, MFD(manufacture date): 2016-02. "Win+R" show date is 2012/01/01. I tried a lot of code from the forum and no one is successful. need help.

Hi,
I have a tablet from Asus (VivoTab Note 8 M80TA). When I press "Alt+R" the date 2012-01-01 is shown. I tried several codes (from the code generator I found here: https://superuser.com/questions/1046...ord-containing) and no one is sucessful.
BIOS is "Aptio" version 2.16.1242 from American Megatredns Inc.

Can someone help me, please!!

Trying to understand the tech behind this lockout, and I'm hitting a brick wall.

I have an Asus T100TA tablet / laptop that is stuck on the "ENTER PASSWORD" blue box, prior to Bios launch.

Now, it has the date of 2012/01/01, yet the ABLDABLA password does not work. I tried replacing the "A" with "Q" as suggested, and nothing. Tried external USB keyboard, and nothing.

I tried using the 10 year old password (2002/01/01), and lo and behold, there isn't one.

Has ANYONE had ANY success in getting the 2012/01/01 unlocked? I have never been as stumped as I am with this stupid little laptop thing.

Any answers are greatly appretiated!

The rescue password "ABLDABLA" must be typed while computer is showing the rescue message dialog box with date (ALT+R), that's when the password works (not on the regular enter password prompt).
If that does not work, then wait 24-hours for the date to change so you can try the next password on the list, as the rescue password changes every day.

Date:Rescue Password
2002-01-02: ALAA4ABA
2002-01-03: A4219DAA
2002-01-04: AA4HBBLA
2002-01-05: AAAALO0B

I have a TXT file with Asus rescue passwords by date, that have downloaded from other forum (before Python script was released by Dogber1), curiously the list starts at 2002-01-02 date (not 2002-01-01), so maybe there's a bug with that initial date that prevents password from working, so waiting may do the trick.
