I bought an adapter already, can it be that my CH341A programmer does not autodetect the Gigadevice 25LB64CS chip?

just a suggestion, do you solder the 25lb64cs to the ch431 programmer or you use adapter clip? in using the adapter clip match the red wire to pin no 1 of the eeprom you can program the ic without pulling it out of the motherboard and try again or clean the ic pin for proper contact. hope this helps.

If you open the bios with UEFITool you`ll see the different bios IC`s supported. Manually select one of the others if they`re supported by the CH341A ,theyre all cross compatible, or try it with AsProgrammer software ,choose W25Q64FW 1.8V
