Posting about this out of frustration.
I just got this dell because I needed the fancy video connector cable.
The lcd was shattered and I didn't really care.
I'm swapping panels and everything is a go, all matching components between the two machines.
Right up to the back of the crystal,,,
One was an IBM and the other a Hitachi, so the connector was not a match,
and I'm left with two pieces of scrap.
My way of saying, I have lots of laptop parts, just ask.
Specifically: Satelites, Versas, Inspirons, Thinkpads, Lifebook and Solo's.
Two identical laps with 15' screens that are different,,,,
