Compaq pressario f550 driver needed

Greetings,
I have a compaq pressario f550 laptop loaded windows vista home premium. I couldn't find the drivers for it. Esp. nVidia graphic adapter. Do you have links for sites where I could download the drivers?

www.nvidia.com is the best place for nvidia drivers.

Open the device manager, check the Details tab, make note of VEN_xxxx, DEV_xxxx, SUBSYS_xxxxxxxx values. Write them down.

If you cannot get Vista drivers from nVidia (they will have them), you can check into www.driverpacks.net and download their various Graphics driver packs. You will need WinRAR, or similar to unpack the .7z compressed files.

Do a Windows SEARCH for *.inf DEV_xxxx to find which folder holds your drivers. Once found, open the .INF and make sure the VEN and SUBSYS values are both present.

The nVidia web site is always the first and best choice.

Compaq Presario F550 series should employ the nForce 430 chipset, which has an embedded GeForce 6100/6150. Look for its drivers in nVidia download page: nForce -> nForce 4 Series -> 6150 (the exact version doesn't matter as 6000/6100/6150 use the same, old driver package dated January 2007) -> Driver -> XP -> [your language]. The chipset driver is the most important one and should be installed as first driver: it includes driver for motherboard devices, hdd controller, usb, I/O in general and (if available) integrated graphics.
In order to discover the other components, download Craig's PCI32 or SIV (a powerful but a bit ugly tool: anyway it's what you need ): anyway it seems the F550 series has a terrible Conexant audio chip (terrible because Conexant is stingy about driver releases).

Thanks for the pointer to Craig's PCI. He includes source, which is very informative for learning the interrogation process. I could dig it out of the DDK, but I'm lazy...
