HDMI inputs with more than two EDID extensions

I am curious about HDMI inputs (especially on HDMI 2.0 and later inputs with 4K support) which have an EDID with more than one 128-byte extension page.

On an Onkyo TX-NR509 AV receiver, all of the HDMI inputs have an EDID Extension Pointer at 0x60h (I2C Address Scan with a Bus Pirate) and all only have one 128-byte EDID Extension; on a Samsung PS59D8000 (Series 8+) TV, all of the HDMI inputs have only one 128-byte EDID Extension and all do not have the EDID Extension Pointer (0x60h does not show up on an I2C Address Scan with a Bus Pirate).

There is a good chance that there would be EDID problems (at 0xA0/0xA1) with inputs having more than one 128-byte EDID Extension without an EDID Extension Pointer (again, at 0x60h); an I2C memory device =<256 bytes requires only one address byte, but there would be problems (and certainly the danger of corrupting its contents) in accessing an I2C memory device requiring two address bytes (I2C memory devices >256 bytes but =<64KB) like a device requiring only one address byte.

Do you know of any TV/display devices with HDMI input(s) having an EDID with more than one 128-byte Extension page?
Beware, the EDID on each HDMI input (on the same TV/display device) can be different as each HDMI input can have different capabilities.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

Does anyone recognise what capacitor this might be? It's from a faulty 230V power extension with surge protection. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Unbricking Vigor AP
    by madan1
    Good day.

I'm posting this to help other people.

If you have a Vigor AP with some kind of a software issue or just with an unknown admin password and disabled reset button, here is how you can flash a fresh firmware.

Download the firmware from the vigor's website and extract it somewhere.
Download TFTPD64 or other tftp client with file push.
Connect to the unit with an ethernet cable and set your client IP address to 192.168.1.10 (just not .1 or .2).
Start TFTPD64, go to tftp client tab. Select the server interface with the above IP and...

Copy DMI info easily with Hex editing software and Macro script
    by SMDFlea
Copying DMI information from an old bios to a new one is difficult for some members, often they have no experience with a hex editor,or some that have tried find it too hard. There is an option to make things easier for those members so that they don`t need to post their own bios backup for the DMI copying.

Experienced bios modding members can help by posting in other threads the DMI offsets, macro script generated by the software and a download link to the software at softpedia mentioned in this guide,or post your macros in the comments here with a link to the bios request thread ....
