Upgrade ???

Guys i like to ask this one....i decided to upgrade my pc mid gaming pc (maybe)...so i like to have some advice its the spec i choose okay for gaming ^_^

Pentium D 805 2.66 2x1MB <- my old CPU
Gigabyte P31-DS3L <--- new mobo
2 Piece of Corsair or Kingston 800MHZ (Value) <--new
HIS 2600XT IceQ Turbo 256MB GDDR3 <-- New
Samsung DVD-RW 18x <--- my old
Codegen 400W (max) PSU <--- my old
80GB sata HDD <--my Old
Normal ATX Casing

I strongly recommend adding another hard drive. it makes a big difference (not only for gaming).
what about that RAM? if it's 2GB in total, it should be okay.
can't say much about the mobo since my last Intel cpu was Slot1.
that codegen PSU *might* make problems (esp. if it's older), but the rest should be okay.

Well i thinkin to add another HDD to and change the PSU to AcBel 470W I-True Power.... this Mobo + HDD + 2 Piece RAM + PSU + GPU (2600XT) will cost me around RM1174 MYR (malaysia ringgit) @_@

Yes mat, scrape this Codegen it is real POS. Probably all your issues have it`s root in this marginal PSU.
