[Q] Replacing HP Elitedesk 800 G4's BIOS with a 800 G5 BIOS with a flahser to support 9th gen CPU, feasible?

Hey there, i just got this 800 G4 SFF pc, i have seen people boot off i5 9500 with a Elitedesk 800 G4 DM so i figured "Well, then this 800 G4 SFF _might_ work with my i7 9700", i tried booting with it and it would come back with 3 Long 5 Short beep ('CPU Initialization error' according to Beep Diagnostic PDF) after that i tried updating it to the lastest firmware and it still wouldnt boot and thats when i realized i needed the 800 G5 instead, but sadly in my area there's almost noone selling a 800 G5 at cheap, which i really need since it has the intel ethernet and Intel ME which would come in clutch to use as a homeserver as my previous machine had a Realtek ethernet and it had alot of trouble with my linux kernel

So i went online to check whats really the difference between the Elitedesk 800 G4 SFF and Elitedesk 800 G5 SFF motherboard but i cant see any difference, atleast visually, even from what i heard they had the same chipset?... i was wondering if i can just take a backup of my current flash (the 16+32mb) with a CH341a flasher, flash the 800 G5 bios into it and call it a day?

    Here's the 800 G5 photos

Hello everyone, I am looking for help to make sure I am on the right track to remove lost BIOS Admin password on an HP EliteDesk G6 800 SFF. I recently purchased this on ebay and the seller is willing to accept a return but I have already installed my new HDs, NVME, and setup proxmox so I would like to keep it.

[Problem/ Request] Bricked TongFang GK7MRFR BIOS
    by cr4zychriss
    Hello everyone,
I am requesting urgent assistance to unbrick my laptop, a rebranded TongFang GK7MRFR chassis. The laptop is completely dead following a faulty in-OS EC flash attempt.
I have successfully used a CH341A programmer and can read/write/verify both flash chips, but using my backups/extractions has failed to restore power. The root cause is likely a corrupted Intel Management Engine (ME) region or an incompatible EC/BIOS pairing. System & Hardware Details

ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo UX8402ZA BIOS
    by pirati
    Hello everyone,

I recently bought a non-working Asus Zenbook Pro Duo OLED UX8402ZA that was listed for parts only. The seller mentioned that it had no display output but that the charging lights worked.

When the laptop arrived (without a charger and SSD), I connected a charger and confirmed with a multimeter that it was charging the battery. However, when I tried to power it on, only the backlight of the secondary display came on. There was no image, and it didn’t boot into the BIOS.

I decided to try flashing a new BIOS, but since I didn’t want to desolder...
