^ chrome has the pepper flash player so it's not dated like the Linux flash but otherwise there the same.

When I do use anything besides Firefox it's Chromium development builds... That way I get bleeding edge code vs using relatively dated official Chrome builds.

                Runs fantastic on Windows XP:

I'd like to see any other browser do that on Windows XP running on a 2005/6 system...

well i use ubuntu 12.04lts and it's much better then win Xp on my opinion at least has more support, but it's not that i'm intrested on,i just had a ride on chrome and it's maybe very nice looking but it's too complicated, first i had a blank white screen a few times when navigating the pages had to reboot a few times, that suckes, then the problem of the tabs on firefox or IE i just start a page then minimize it and open another page then close one while still having other page.IE even do it better you open 123pages then close one of the pages and it asks you if you want to close this tab or all tabs, i like this future, neather chrome an firefox has this option.

I have the latest Kubuntu on this machine, but I find the performance on XP to be much better... Only thing I've been using Kubuntu for lately is k3b to force-erase a stubborn DVDRW that ImgBurn can't...

I use IE10 on my HP Laptop... I find it's missing many features that Firefox and Chrome have, but nothing can touch the raw performance of IE10.... Compare with the ChalkBoard demo on the TestDrive site.

I can't run lubuntu on the old Sony vayo cause it's PAE i only can run no PAE
on it so still say and afirm that Xubuntu runs better then XP on it.ten times better, no support for XP from win

And i don't run xubuntu in place of Ubuntu in my more advance PC cause it wont reconize 1920x1080 resolution out of the box, probably have to conf and tha't too much work for me, and UBUNTU 12.04 LTS is more stable and support than any distros that i have tried with fire fox,and beleive me i tried quiet a few if you ask me.
i still have a laptop running Win Vista and it suckes a whole lot more 10 times than ubuntu 12.04lts i only keep it cause i 'm a music man and have a Finale music program to compose music and costed me some money so i'm not about to throwght it out but i have very good options for music composing on Linux and is for free when i decide to dump win vista, which will be sooner rather then later.

Ubuntu is good at feeling slow. Elementary OS is based on Ubuntu, but has a fantastic interface and is blazing fast, even on single core laptops!

(feeling slow) not my case i have a toshiba laptop with win vista and IE on it and is much more strong as cpu and mem and my sony old vaio with xubuntu firefox wins on speed by a long shot, and i'm not talking about the XP and IE that i had installed before the Xubuntu ops, that was miserable slow.

and i have also a pc similar in hardware to the toshiba with ubuntu and it also wins too,and for free you think you can get a better deal.and i can do better what i do which is streaming livetv.

you did not mention about my video and the pages tabs that i can get in firefox same way i can get in Firefox and IE browsers and not with chrome browser?

ok well relevance of the question - Chrome is what I would use on Ubuntu/Elementary/other other Linux distro.
