    ISPConfig

I figured since you use ISPConfig maybe somebody will know
Hint: I know this because: https://www.badcaps.net/dfgjkdtnjhgegk

    I'm using CentOS 5.7. I can't install ISPConfig and I don't know why
I'm runnign 32-bit, on a Pentium 4HT with 1GB of RAM and an 80GB HDD
(far from great but good enough for a small website with a forum)
I successfully got Apache running using the "apachectl start" command, but the ISPConfig installer claims that no PHP MySQL is available
but when I installed CentOS I selected MYSQL server?

    test page for apache:
    http://shovenose.dyndns.org/

    how do I fix? thanks!

    Re: ISPConfig

I'm running mine with Debian......so I dont know, I didn't run into that problem.

ISPconfig is very nice, but very fickle. Before modifying anything related to it, ALWAYS pull FULL backups, especially databases. Oopsie, looks like I need to set my custom error pages back, I forgot about it after the last upgrade... The 404 error page should look like this:

      Re: ISPConfig

      LoL!
Is everything included out of the box with Debian, or did you have to install extra stuff before ISPConfig?
      Thanks

        Re: ISPConfig

Whatever, I'm just going to use Ubuntu Server 11.10 and EHCP. It sucks, but it's easy to install :P
So no need to answer this question...

            That's pretty goofy.
Quick question: what CMS do you use for the main site?

                    Re: ISPConfig

                    That's cool...

On a side note, I had a lot of fun installing phpBB on my server.
Why? No, it's not interesting in of itself...
But the FTP transfer of the installation files was AMAZING!!!
I'm used to uploading these things on my DSL connection with lousy upload speed to cheap share web hosts.
But transferring over 100Mbit on a dedicated server (albeit a crappy one, but still) was PHENOMENAL!!! It took literally 3 seconds, instead of the usual 5-20 minutes...
                    WOOHOO!
                    lol!

would you be open to a new, more modern loking logo, at some point?
Especially one that matches on both the forum and the main site?
Moving on, I'm impressed you were able to knock this together in a few days...

...maybe at some point. The current style has been in place since 07 I think....it's the site's 3rd styling. I don't really feel like doing it again. When I was younger and more ambitious, I'd get excited about a restyle....but that's when I had more time on my hands.....

its fine... I wouldn't sweat it.

that said, if you ever wanted a different logo, I would be willing to help.
