Hi,
I've got a turntable from the late 1970s that was acting up. It uses a mix of SM and SL series Nippon Chemi Con capacitors.
The Chemi Con website says that both series are replaced by SMG, so that's what I've used in recapping. The turntable is humming along fine now.
I was wondering, what's the difference between SM and SL series capacitors?
