    surface mounted caps dont understand the values

    hi all i have a panasonic plasma 50" main boared that has 5 caps on it that i dont understand the values on them . nor can i find any ref anyware to them could someone help me out with the volts and uf values please

    The two at the top are 100uF, probably rated for 10v.

    The other capacitors are probably Panasonic HB series -the top number is capacitance (220uF or 100uF) , HB is the series and the letter before is the voltage rating:

    j 6.3 V
    A 10 V
    C 16 V
    E 25 V
    V 35 V
    H 50 V

    So the 220uF are probably rated for 6.3v max and the 100uF is probably rated for 16v max. If I were to replace them all, I would just buy 3 100uF 16v and replace even the top ones with a 16v rated capacitors, it wouldn't hurt anything.

    You can replace them with capacitors rated for higher voltages provided there's room on the board. You could also use regular leaded capacitors, just bend the leads a bit and solder them to the existing pads.
