Hi all seems to be my month not that i should winge or moan as it least its differnt to the usual rubbish i get.
I dont remember ever having changed a Poly cap on a Motherboard so im not really up on my part numbers. So any help appreciated on this one please.
The original cap on the motherboard is completly gone lol but i do have another one which is the same model number. so i took a pick of the cap thats missing.
Looking for a direct replacment if availabe please.

based on the logo on the cap, it should be an apaq polymer. asus loves using apaq on their mid and low end boards except for their rog series. suitable replacements are panasonic oscon sepc and chemicon psc.

yes it is a 560uF 4V cap. however, i cant help u with uk/eu e-commerce sites as im not familiar with your area so someone else will have to help u with that im afraid.

however, since this is your first time soldering, im gonna assume u dont have a soldering iron as well? do remember to get at least a 60w or 80w+ soldering iron as recent motherboards have got a shit ton of copper in them and use rohs lead-free solder which has a higher melting point than leaded solder, so u'll need a very high wattage iron to get the solder to melt or else u'll just end up space heating the motherboard (and potentially damaging it) instead of melting the solder!
