Asus A7N266-VM motherboard with more than one capacitor make

I noticed that all of the big capacitors, which most of them are near the processor socket are Nichicon (good), but I saw a small capacitor, next to the DIMM sockets with "TEAPO" written on it(Oh oh, I dunno now).

All of the capacitors are black with a silver stripe.

The good news is that the capacitor with "TEAPO" written on it is a small capacitor, only approximately a quater inch long or even less and thus may not even be affected.

I have seen that on many boards where there's a mix & match of various brands of lytics. I've even seen two identical boards have completely different brands of caps.

In general, if the capacitor value is below 470uF, they are not affected by the crap cap plague. Those caps are usually standard ESR, not using the flawed water-based electrolyte formula that caused this mess in the first place.

If the cap is 470uF or higher, and a known crappy brand, I would replace it. Teapo is well known to be junk.

Good news, the Teapo capacitors are only 100uF.

All of the 3300 uF capacitors are Nichicons.

You should be in good shape then. Teapos are crap, but the lower valued ones (680uF and under) aren't known to fail.
