    computer monitor

I have a Gateway 24" lcd monitor with dcdi. The monitor is working, i can hear the menu working when i push the button, the lights on the side work but there is no display. the screen is a little lighter then black when on. for a while it would do this for a min. then the dislplay would come back.

i took it apart and found some caps that might be bad and i am going to replace them. they are su'scon, i am wondering if i can use different manufactures with the same specs.
