i have a 7500 and i find that even the slightest breeze will change any profile you try and load, i always from experience now do reflows or reballs manually using a fluke ir thermometer as well as the onboard thermocouple as a guide, since i started using the fluke as a secondary check i have great results.

Fluke thermocouple as secondary? So what your priority measure tempreture either built in or ext thermocouple? do u think jovy re7500 not accurate read tempretures?for Re 8500 sometimes the tc is hold not stabLE and will get inaccurate tEMpreture. jovy need to solve this problem.
