I've searched the forums using "L90" as my search string and found only one entry not related to my problem, so if this has been covered, I apologize in advance.
My monitor was working fine until I moved. I used the original box the monitor came in for the move.
Symptoms:
Unit powers on and stays on, backlight does come on, "Menu" does not show, and no video appears from known good source. Tapping the back of the unit smartly causes a "white flash" on the screen. Disconnecting the SVGA cable yields a blue screen after a minute or so. I do not own a DVI cable to test that input. While connected, the unit does sense a video presence as the LED stays green until I shut down the PC, then it changes to amber.
It's been 12+ years since I've repaired consumer electronics, and LCD screens were a dream to own at the time.
Any ideas on where to begin troubleshooting on this one?
Many thanks,
TXShooter
