    Sanyo OS-CON SEPC 100uf 16v replacement

    hello
    I mistakenly broke off a cap off my motherboard and am wanting to find out if it would be cheaper to buy a new one or just replace the cap.

    I will attach a pic of the cap to show you what I need. But I am having a hard time trying to find a replacement for the broken cap. I see badcaps sells some os-con but not in the ranges I need. Could someone tell me were I can get the cap I need or an alternative to it?

    The cap was on the motherboard to the left of the PCI-E x16 slot toward the bottom if that matters

    SEPC series has two can sizes of 100uF 16v so without the dimensions I can't look up the specs.
    They are both 6.3mm diameter but one is 6mm long and the other 9mm.
    The specs are significantly different.

      That's got to be the 9mm long one, just look at the pic.

          the can itself is 4mm-5mm long, but it has no leads(legs) attached to it so I can not measure it.

          I can take another pic with the cap on its side with a ruler if that would help

              The leads are not part of the measurement.

              That match works.
              You don't have your location entered in you profile so I dunno where to send you.
              If you are in the US you can check digikey.com and mouser.com.
              By what the data sheet shows you need,
              ESR at .024 ohms or less (The Nichicon's 0.025 ohms is close enough)
              Ripple at 2490 mA or less

                sorry about that, I live in Illinois - United States

                i checked mouser and digikey and they did not return any results. I do not mind paying a little more to ship from overseas, just trying to keep the costs down.

                  Shipping is only $2, so you will get four of them and it will cost you $7.

                  Digikey has the PSA listed, but no stock.
                  Mouser has nothing suitable.

                  This guy is your best bet. (They're UCC BTW, not Nichicon. UCC sometimes calls themselves Nippon Chemicon a.k.a NCC)

                            Yes, you are correct sir. 0.24. An exact match.

                            But shipping itself is $6.95 (USPS), the eBay guy is still cheaper and he gives him 4 of them. But the product will arrive a lot faster with Mouser.
