There is a huge amount of negative feedback on the Newegg site for various GS1xx gigabit switches.
The Netgear mouthpieces replies there is a "manufacturing defect" that was resolved in 2007~2008, and late model devices should not have it.
My question: has anybody found this to be bad caps?
The Netgear customer support, and lifetime warranty, is pure shit.
I've been down the road with the Folks From Bangalore, and the amount of wasted time, plus costs of shipping, make a new unit about the same as an RMA.
I don't mind recapping a new GS108 and tossing away the warranty, if that is the cause.
Anybody?
