aspire 5742g when asking for shutdown it only restart

well i had this machine a few time ago in my lab , and the issues was if you ask for shutdown in windows by menu or even on the on off button , it would restart the machine , to shut it down it would be needed to press on off for several seconds.. cheked KBC and it was with the HM responsable for the shutdown state , so i first tryed bios update , but no joy. so tryed a KB the same , in the end i reflowed the HM55 and the machine started to work properly and shuting down when requested.

Ok machine after 3 months came with same issue . so since in last effort , after reflowing the HM55 , i just replaced today the HM55 , but does the SAME THING...

any clues , ideas ? will be very apreciated.

just a thought, could al dying cmos battery do this?

nop guys . cmos bat is 3.12 volts and good
, does were my first trys, i didn't mentioned them since its the basic we all follow :P

im tired of this for today , just have 7 machines ready today , so for me im out of busyness , need to rest , tomorow i will think about it
