sop8 adapter compatible with soic8 chips?

i have one doubt about a matter of compatibility.i need to program a bios chip wich is PM25LV010A-100SCE-GP.For this y buy this programmer:http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-US...21085105494%26.
In the list of suported chips said that is soic8 but the package only have sop8 adapters.The questions is :soic8 chips are compatible with sop8 adaters?or i have to buy an adapter for this particular kind of chips. Like this one:http://www.ebay.com/itm/SOIC8-SOP8-D...400329108910.I have 0 experience with this.Thank you.

I have looked at the support sheet with your programer and it lists your devise.
so should have the correct one no need to buy another.
