The so called throwaway society these days is really annoying me more and more. Most things can be repaired, sometimes even with little efford. That effectively saves resources and reduces pollution.
Good to have such a forum to get lots of information and help others on their way to a successful repair!
Most of my electronic devices have been fixed at least once. I hardly ever buy new stuff but prefer used things even if they are not in the desired condition and take some afford to get them ready. A self built, repaired or restored thing is much more pleasure to me than using something brand new.
