    Well, the link says that the "binary usage" of megabyte is the same as the value of "mebibyte", though the way I see it, whatever conveys the term works. I actually don't think cache makes that much of a difference in drive performance, on that topic. The most glaring difference would be peak speeds (such as when you first start writing or reading file[s]... but then I don't notice the difference after).
