Complaint (by this author) is "White display on boot." Now shop finds no display on boot.
Upon teardown, burned components were found on the motherboard DA0R23MB6D1 REV D: PC23; PL9. (See attached)
Also, when powered-up on bench a component felt extremely hot within seconds.
Current owner of five years advised, "It's always run hot, fan is usually racing full speed during videos, slows some then stays fast. I replaced it once three years ago when the old one barely moved at all."
"About that same time, I replaced the display which was cracked by accidental foreign object impact."
Currently plugged-in power cord, white power light is on but board won't start. Last time the power button worked, fan ran, one area of the board heated up - now, nothing.
I'll start checking voltages starting from the power plug...
