This is my first post, thank you for your forum.
Below is what I am working on:
Acer Veriton L460
Model: VL460-ud6420C
Mfg Date: 2007/10/30
Motherboard Number: MBV5709001
I had previously replaced a KZJ 6.3v 1000uf with the same. No problems as of yet.
Now I have a KZJ 16v 470uf that has failed and I want to replace it with a more reliable replacement now that I have found your site. In looking through other posts the recommendation seems to be a HN 16v 470uf, would this be the best replacement?

Thank you for the response.
So looking closer at the other KZJ caps it looks like my board has:
4-KZJ 6.3v 1000uf
1-KZJ 16v 470uf
2-KZJ 6.3v 1800uf

So if I replace each of those with an HN I should have a more reliable board I'm assuming.

Are the other non KZJ caps on my board nothing to worry about?

IIRC, the HN's should be a good match. My advice is to replace ALL KZJ's, the are known to have issues of being bad while not bloated.
