I have the same problem (a unknown student put a bios setup password on school's HP 260 mini G9) and before sending HP bin files, sn, etc, I have a question : do I need to dismount bios chip to write back modified bios or I will be able to use some software like HPUnlocker ?
I read many post on this forum I am not sure about what to do after...
