Thanks! I thought that chip was the EC firmware. I’ve put everything back the way it was. Honestly, I don’t know what’s wrong with the laptop — it stopped working from one day to the next. When I plug in the charger, the ‘light bulb’ LED turns on and the ‘battery’ LED also lights up but it blinks. When I hold the power button, the LED lights up in orange; before, it was white. Thanks for replying so quickly! I first tried the EC file and the error persisted, then I restored the backup and flashed the BIOS file, but that also failed. I flashed both files and the laptop still won’t start. I noticed that the EC.bin file is 49 KB while mine is 2 MB — could that have something to do with it?...Leave a comment:
