Total newbie here. I am very interested in learning laptop repair and would have extreme appreciation for some guidance on an issue I am having here.

This machine was pretty badly liquid damaged. Initially, it was stuck at 5v on the charger. I fixed that by finding a shorted cap on the cd3215 1.1v ldo and reprogramming the TBT rom. From there, the machine went to 20v, but nothing happened. 40ma current draw. I reflowed the smc and the machine powered up. With the lifeboat connector in, the machine will stay at the apple logo for 2-3 minutes and will eventually...
