If you don't mind, care to explain the process to unlock these AMD HP bios? At a glance it looks like a few VSS entries have been wiped. I tried similar edits but would get an error on boot and the EC would restore everything.... -

Reporting back that it did not work :/ didn't brick the system or see any messages about bios recovery which we get when we make any edits to the main bios - but the bios password remained
Also tried wiping the EC firmware entire, system recovered it. So i tried wiping the EC firmware and flashing an 'unlocked bios' created with the older HPUnlocker tool. Still no dice.Leave a comment:

Echoo the fix for the intel hardware for this generation is to wipe the EC firmware NVRamActriveRegn section, about 4Kb. That section isn't populated in the AMD EC firmware but i've found it in a different area. Going to try wiping it and see if works!Leave a comment:
