Hi, Thanks a lot.... Works like a charm... But, i have a message in display with a count down... "System is booting in Manufacturing mode... 30", what should i do to remove that message.
My procedure... Flash bios with new given version, then perform a factory default bios settings and finally perform a reset security configurations...

Hi everyone, i have an elitebook 840 G7 locked by forgot password, i´ve tryed to unlock by my self comparing with an unlocked bios, but i can´t do my work correctly, here is the original locked bios extracted from the winbond 25Q256JVEN ic.
Serial number: 5CG04294X0
PROD ID: 1F3S8LT#ABM
How can i proceed to do the correct factory reset after that.

Hi, i was trying to use the laptop and only blinks in ambar after the bios update, is posibble to use another bios to recover mine and unlock it?.
In several minutes i´ll try to install the original locked bios and look for it booting stability.

Hi everyone, i have a serious problem with a HP Probook 440 G8, i was changing the bios image and two pins of ec rom were damaged, so, i used another memory but using another bios image, the laptop was corrupted by bios incompatible serials and i can´t made a backup, how ca i recover the bios roms to repair the laptop?

I don´t know if the bios has configured with password.

Hi, thanks for answering me, well, i have the programmer based on CH341A, but:
1. I dont know wich software use to read / write the bios memory, in this case is a 16 pins one
2. The bios info is corrupted, so i believe that if i read the software could be bad, so i need also the clean software
3. My serial is 1CZ1060B1R ; machine type HP PRODESK 400 G7 SFF PC
i´ve done the repair procedure of bios memories for lenovo machines, but hp is my first one.
All the instructions are very functional for me
