GUYS YOUR ARE LEGENDS!!!!!!! Ive sorted it, on the stand up board there a 3 SMD capacitors, one was shorted, Ive removed it and now got 5 and 12v standby! Thank You SO MUCH!!!!!!!!! -

E106 keeps jumping 8,9,10,8,9,10v continuously, E201 - to D105 cathode is the same. I did rip the trace on the part i removed but have temporarily put a wire across...

R148 is reading as 000.5 ohms with q101 removed, can test q101? is it a transistor? it looks like it says SVS7N65F

PW.168W2.801 no 5v SB for sharp 55BL5KA TV
I have a PW.168W2.801 PSU that is getting no power on the 5v SB pin, nothing looks burnt on the PSU itself, I have removed everything and Im getting over 300v on the main capacitor. I have the LED cable connected in the pic but have removed it for testing, any help is appreciated. -

Hi, no its not cracked, I think it's just the light in the pic, it used to have leds light up but now nothing. I'm guessing it HAS to be something on the right half of the board as 300v is going to large capacitor. I have no idea what to test on it, could someone maybe draw on it where to test? ok, ill start with the easy option first by cleaning up and soldering, can someone maybe draw a rough path of the power going through? Should the 2 big coils be DC? Also, what's the best way to discharge the main capacitor, is it just a 1w resistor across the points? Ive just been leaving it to discharge slowly but it takes ages, thanks for all your help and info!Leave a comment:

Hi I have a mobility scooter charger that's dead, uve checked the main fuse and internal fuse which are fibe, the main capacitor is showing about 320v on its output but I have no idea what to check next, hopefully someone can help with the supplied pictures... -
