Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
i have tested all so far only the Q4002 has beeps, rest are fine with no beep
and btw those are Q4004 and Q4005 not "D", you can notice it from the pics

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
from the one mentioned
only Q4002 beeps,
other than that,D4010 and D4004 also gives a beep. when tested with mounting pads, Q4004 and Q4005 gives a beep gives a beep on one leg and about 500+ohms resistance on the other.
guess both board need replacing...

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
i tested both of the tps , and they were no shorts from it. as oppose to the one stated in post #19 on my y main where the tps are shorted.according to the text , it mentioned something failure if shorted....

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
i unplug x and y---no shorts
i unplug x---shorts on Vs
x and y connected--shorts on Vs
Is the led on logic blinking every second or every 5- every 5 on both occasions (x unplugged and both (X and Y)connected)
unplug both x and y--blink once and remain stable.
acording to
Vs shorted indicated problem on the x or y boards....Last edited by weiliz; 01-12-2019, 08:05 AM.

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
can anyone tell me how is the middle stuff missing?

Re: PS43D490 Clicking/Not Powering Up Fixed
As the Xmain gets its power from the Ymain I unplugged the Xmain and then checked the Vs input on the Ymain to ground and its not shorted so the Xmain is failed.
mine is shorted. does that means its a ymain board?

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
same exact system as this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wmJenmz9vro
will also need to check the y buffer board, any ideas would be appreciated.
update: by using this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Oq2MsU0XOQ
managed to check my y buyffer board and there appears to be no shorts, with 798ohms at some
however, people said its better to replace both ysus and ybuffer, any insight on this is appreciated.Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply brok...enmz9vroLast edited by weiliz; 01-10-2019, 06:44 AM.

Re: PN43D490A1DXZA power supply broke?
i was wondering is there any way to test the x main individually since its power source comes from y main.....
tested the voltage of ymain it went very wrong with Vsc=-0.015V
and i test the ouput voltage from ysus connector to the xsus it doesnt add up.
