Macbook Pro 820-01700 - 2TB Nand bin dump request
Hello all, the title kind of says it all.
I have an 820-01700 that has 3 of the NANDs shorted. U9080 shorted G3H to the 2.5V lines. RIP
This being said, I would like to replace the dead NANDs but am not finding any .bin information for the set.
U8600 TSB4232(320G)
U8700 TSB4232(320G)
U8800 TSB4228(128G)
U9100 TSB4232(320G)
U9200 TSB4232(320G)
U9300 TSB4232(320G)
U9400 TSB4232(320G)
(The 320GB are actually 256GB NANDs, but I believe they are being used in the 320GB configuration - ask apple how... -

42 days later and the local Apple Authorized shop took it in, it was finally returned under warranty to my client working. But that 42 days tho.... He was willing to pay out of pocket if I could have fixed it.
I have seen that the 820-00239 bv and schematic is out there now, does anyone have a copy they would be willing to share?Leave a comment:

Seems that this is probably a manufacturing defect. I had my customer call up the local rep here and seems quite a few of these have this problem. After removing the mobo, everything looked impeccable.

Hello all, I have a macbook pro that is not giving me any back light. I wanted to probe around the boost circuit, but am not sure where it would be on this board! Use to be intermittent and opening the screen and shutting it a few times could bring it to life. I don't have a spare test screen - my first thought is the cable because movement seemed to help, but now no back light at all. Image yes.
If someone has the boardview and schematics, i would be very grateful!

Howdy all! Saludos from South America.
I am a biomedical equipment technician and have stumbled upon this lovely forum and have found all sorts of useful stuff already.
I hope at some point I can return the favor and help someone out! I do have to admit, I have found myself replacing mobo caps before on a $10k system that was blue screening. Kinda nice to see its not just a small problem, but also frustrating to see.
