Macbook a2338 M1 CD3217 chip compatibility
Hi,
I have a2338 MacBook with one bad CD3217 chip. Are there any compatible chips on aliexpress that actually work? Or only chip from same motherboard can be used?
I remember buying one CD3215 for older 15" model on aliexpress and that one worked.

Searching for Macbook M1 M2 0.47UH 1.7A 0.175OHM inductor
Hi,
I dont have newer doner boards for M1,M2... machines and I see these inductors often blow with water damage.
Anyone know where I can buy a few 0.47UH 1.7A 0.175OHM inductors, I did not find it.

Macbook a2681 u7700 chip
Hi,
water damaged MacBook a2681 M2 draws 5v 0,4A, u7700 gets hot, so I guess it must be bad.. Now I wonder, where could I get that chip? there is nothing on aliexpress... is it only good from same doner board?

anyone has a schematics and bordview for DJI Mini 3 pro?
I can see there is one on XinZhiZao, but 40$ for a monthly access, is not that little, for one time repair attempt... and i dont even know if there is complete schematic with all the details for a repair.

With disk that has iinstalled os on it, i get reboot look. Without disk... it stays stable.
I can not install OS, because i cant get into recovery... or select usb boot with Option key... non of the hotkey combination work.... Logo comes on immediately after you hear chime... normaly it takes second or two.
Also, if i remove the disk... there is apple logo after chime... i think it shouldnt be.Leave a comment:

Hi fellas,
I have his weird issue With Macbook pro 15" 2015, 2,8ghz proc. When you hear chime there is immediaetly Apple logo on the screen and non of the hotkey combinations at boot dont work.... CMD+R, D, ALT, CMD+OPT+P+R.... When its on the charger i can reset smc - Shift+opt+cmd+power, so i suppose the keyboard works... i have also tried with another keyboard connected to the board and its the same. I have tried another hdd with system installed on it ... shows apple logo for about 30s and restarts. Even if i remove the disk... it shows apple logo for 30s,... and then... -
820-00840-a 00875-a SMC compatible?
Hi,
anyone knows if SMCs from these boards are compatible? I have 820-00875-a with bad smc, and a 820-00840-a donor board. They are very similar, same ram amount, 00875 has 2,0 i5, 00840 has has 2,3 i5. -

Found out that it didnt charge battery. Replaced Q7155, now its working. Will test it for a couple of days. Hope this is it.Leave a comment:

Yesterday i got back to this one and got some progress. I found knocked off resistor around SMC and broken trace from R7152 to R7150. Replaced Q7130/Q7135 and ISL from a known good board. I have green light, PPBUS_G3H 12,63V. I have done some measurement around Q7130/Q7135... and i see that CHGR_LGATE is fluctuating from 0,6 to 0,9V. I have measured it on a other board, it is steady 0,87V. Macbook boots, but cuts off power after few seconds, not always at the same time. Must still be something wrong around that power circuit. Maybe some bad capacitor...Leave a comment:

Doesnt ONEWIRE require SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC to work?, that comes from SMC.
I tried 2 original chargers. (I have meant, that this damage happened on non-original charger that the owner had)
I will try another know good I/O, although i tried two.. but you never know.
Hopefully i get back tomorrow with some good news

I know, its frustrating...
SMC_BC_ACOK 0v
PP3V42_G3H is 3,39V
SMC_BC_ACOK_VCC 0v
SYS_ONEWIRE 0v
Have checked continuity between all these lines and smc, all good. U7000/U7001 replaced, also good.
I dont remember about ADAPTER_SENCE, not currently at the bench.Leave a comment:

Hi,
first a little history on this board. It was working over night connected to charger and died, no green light. First it seemed an easy job, sense resistors on U7100 were measuring milion ohms... replaced that and U7100, worked till first restart, then i got it working again.. and it went out again.
I have replaced U7100, Q7130, Q7135, Q7180 two times, ran wire R7121 to pin 4 R7120. Replaced SMC twice. Checked all connections around U7100 and all resistors are ok, also there are no shorts.Removed F7140/41. No green light.
PP3V42_G3H is 3,39V... -
