    Hello folks,
My name is juanasry, born in 1985. My job is a junior high school teacher. I feel the need to join this forum to get solutions to problems related to electronics items in my home. Even though I'm not majoring in electronics, it doesn't seem like a sin if I can repair electronic devices around me, based on similar experiences or help from members of this forum.

    Warm regards,

    Juanasry

Hi all, I'm a mech / software engineer determined to fix things where most would give up, even if it means dabbling and tinkering with electronics where my knowledge is somewhat limited. I've had moderate success with electronics repairs in the past. I'm tucked away on the southernmost tip of Africa.

                    2017 iMAC A1419 Board# 820-00609-A Capacitor 68 C79

Hello BadCaps Forum! I'm new to the group and hope you guys can help me with something. I have a 2017 imac A1419 board # 820-00609-A that i'm trying to identify a capacitor failure on. The capacitor is a tantalum 68 C79. See pic attached (may have to attach after the post, but i'll try). I've tried to figure this out using the web and unfortunately can't find the information. Can someone tell me what the Capacitance value, voltage, etc is for these 68 C79 caps are? Thanks in advance!!

Hello. I am Saif from Canada. I fix things with tools. As many tools I can get my hands on. I can do almost anything including metal machining, welding, automotive/motorcycle work, building/construction, EVs, solar systems and most electronics. I recently started working on newer laptops and found an interesting challenge I could not resist. Got me some more tools to add to my arsenal and here I am ready to expand my horizons. Replacing a BGA CPU on a laptop motherboard. How hard can it be?
