Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hey guys, i came across this site via google when looking for a fix to my laptop problem. Hopefully i can learn enough to fix it correctly. Looking forward to the experience.
hi,
Eric 55 years old, I am interested in electronics and computers, I often read your forum, I decided to register, maybe I could also participate and share :-)
Hello,
I'm mainly here to learn about repair for electronics. I've always been a big fan of doing my own repairs when possible and enjoy learning more information and becoming more capable at repair.
I've been working with computers since I was very young and ended up getting a degree in Computer Engineering to help further my knowledge about computers even though most of my work experience is in IT.
Still haven't quite a made a decision about which career path I'm going to go down either lol.
I feel like I've learned a lot of information about electronics, but not really how to apply it practically so I'm hoping to gain more skills and knowledge about how to do that here on this forum.
Greetings everyone,
Thanks for the warm welcome! Truly an honor to be apart of this amazing group! Looking forward to learning more about about electronics and computers repairs.
The name's Tim, and I somehow found my way onto here a long time ago while digging up info on the forum's namesake: bad caps.
Eventually made an account to explore some more, looking through other people's issues, perusing guides and browsing for schematics.
Thanks a bunch to all of you who have maintained this forum for all these years and continue to provide us with all of the info that is collected on here.
i don't really know were to start or what to say so where go's nothing
Hi , my name is mike william and I'm a start up repair shop . i start doing repairs a few years back when iPhone 6 an 6s was a thong lols . now I'm starting to do motherboard repairs and still have a lot of learning to do . as far as tools . I've invested a few hundred dollars just over a thousand to be exact in just tools and now I'm in the process of finding schematic and board views on the web .. I've visited a few website looking for such but 90% of them don't have what I'm looking for or their asking you to do a WHOLE LOT just to download some file that may not even be what your looking for ... but i have high hopes in this site because it was highly recommend an is non to having clean files no no virus or Trojan in them ... but hey like i said .. i have a lot to lean and would love to share all that I've lean if its going to help somebody else with their own technical problem
