          Hi guys,

I'm Joselito from Philippines, I did find this website via Google. I am looking to find a way to get a bios password for my Dell Latitude 3420. Also to learn more about computers as that's where I am mostly into.

Hoping to find the things I am looking for.

Hi, long time lurker. Never saw the requirement for new members to post in this thread so I'll do that now.

Getting into board level diagnostics as I believe it will be necessary in the future for repair shops to survive. Things are becoming less serviceable over time without board level skills.
Thanks to everyone who posts here and shares knowledge. I feel like I have learned a fair amount so far.

Hello, my name is Gerald, I'm from Austria, and I buy defective electronics, repair them, and sometimes resell them. I've only been doing this since November 2023 and have already completed many successful repairs.
Currently, I'm trying to repair gaming laptops.

In my free time, I enjoy gaming and am also active in 3D printing.

I'm currently undergoing training as a Front-End Developer, but I still work as a CNC specialist.

                              Hi all
I have a hp elite x2 1012 g2 that I bought second hand a couple of years ago. I haven't had any issues with it till I wanted to turn on virtualization which is in the bios. The guy I bought the hp off of never gave me a bios password. I contacted hp and because there is no warranty on my hp they cannot give me a backdoor password to help reset the bios pword. I know that removing the cmos battery can be an option but I'm afraid I'll break it is there any way I can go about resetting my bios password or finding the backdoor password?
I appreciate anyone who takes the time to respond thanks

                              Hello all.

My name is talem and I am from Fiji, a tiny island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I met John Lee Hooker once and when I told him I was from Fiji he asked "Is that in Australia?"

Well, Fiji is so small that it disappears from view.

I have a macbook pro and an iMac which cannot be repaired here and because of the state of our currency, sending them to where the experts are is completely out of the question.

I studied math and physics in uni and have some idea of electronics and soldering. In fact I worked as an IT support - network and systems support - and team management until I was kicked of my job because of the no-jab policy.

I just recently found out about board repair guys like yourselves (we not only disappear from view, but our view has always been obscured by business people to think that the board replacement is the only way) actually do exist. So I have done a few practise opening, dismantling and reassembling of my computers, now I need to arm myself with schematics and learn a little on how to use it then I should be able to fix my issues.

I know, very ambitious, but its good for my energy.

Looking forward to learning from you all.
