              Hi Everyone,

Component-level repair and bodge-jobbery is something that I don't often have time for but when I fall down a rabbit hole of trying to fix something, it's full-on obsession until it's done. I absolutely love the rush of finally identifying a fault and seeing something come back to life that was otherwise destined for landfill.

I know I'll learn a lot just by lurking around here. Who knows, maybe I'll be able to help someone with some obscure, uber-specific scrap of knowledge I've acquired over the years.

                                    Hi!

New member, but old guy from Alberta Canada, originally from Ontario Canada.

Did field service for a few years then moved to bench tech then a brief time in management (I dont kiss butt so that didnt last long). Also worked as a tech in a computer store for a bit. Most of my later years was in circuit/PCB design for an electrical metering company.

Retired now, I just mess around with whatever comes up. There is always someone breaking something and I seem to get elected to "look at it".

Ended up here, looking for schematics for the wifes Macbook Pro that doesnt sound too good. Ya, speakers are raspy sounding. I'm thinking PS problem maybe...who knows. We'll see...

                                          Hi everyone,

                                          My first computer was a Pentium2 233mhz.
I have no electronic education but in evening class, I learned to build and fix computers.
I have a computerstore for 17 years now.
I have someone who repair the electronics for me but now I am searching ways to repair computers at electronic level myself also.

                                          greets
                                          Bruno
