Samsung UN55NU6900FXZA made a loud pop

I have a UN55NU6900FXZA and it made a loud pop and now won't turn on. I have no standby light as well. I am assuming there is a problem with my motherboard. Is there a way to fix this or do I need to swap entire Power Supply/ Motherboard out for a new one? Ive never done this , but assuming it's not that hard. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

These models have a few different problems. It could be one of the boards. However these are famous for bad backlights and even seem a few bad panels (screens).

Are you handy with a multimeter?

Somewhat, but the tv won’t even turn on and no lights are on.

Well first step is pull back off and look at it. You will probably see the problem.

It's bit hard to take back cover off for this tv. I had done this some time back and it needs some patience. You need some plastic cards like insurance or credit cards (expired ones ). Credit card is not enough, need also something to push the wire like chopstick.
The cover is easy to crack, don't force it.
Don't mess around with the bottom side of TV or you will regret it.
