    Samsung LE32A558 (P3C) tuner trouble?

Hi to you all that may be able to help!

My parents have this Samsung TV as their second unit that's not much used because of this weird issue. TV held up 5+ years greatly until one day this problem developed. I replaced the caps on the PSU because few of them were bulging, didn't affect this issue, and this syptom must be in the mainboard.

Unit works great and all but in three channels (YLE 1, 2 and 5, channels in Finland) that are low frequency band channels, tend to stick and then catch up, jerk so to speak, under faster movement. This doesn't occure in any other channels. Fixes that have been already tried:
Using aerial and cable connection in different places with different cabling and in both cases problem stays.
Switching places in the channels, affects none.
    Factory resetting.
Problem stays if the unit is cold or warms up.

I have some knowledge of the electronics but it's mystery to me that does the tuner work somehow differently under different channel packs or frequencies.
Are there any components I should measure that could manifest themselves in a behavior like this? Should I just use this as a monitor for PC and forget trying to troubleshoot because it works fine as one and has great picture.

Have you checked the signal strength. Tuners vary in sensitivity.

Signal strength is all good in both cases, with cable or aerial connection. I haven't found any information that they've changed anything in the transmissions so greatly that it would affect older TV's like this. It's weird that it happens in both scenarios and only on those few channels.
It's possible that the problem is on the transmitting end and not on the receiveing end, in this tuner. More weird thing is that even older sets don't have this problem. I've tried to find newer firmware or something but there's none that I can find.

So you have checked the signal strength bar as shown in the picture above and it was as strong as a good channel?

Yes, signal strength is as good with those channels as any other. We tested this in my home in the city with aerial and on their home with cable connection. In both scenarios problem is there. Does anybody know do tuners work somehow differently, use different signal paths or components, when using different bands or is there a possibility that some part doesn't want to work with these lower bandwidths? I'm just throwing ideas because I have no clue what could cause this kind of problem. Is there any way to get firmware update to this thing that would hard reset everything so to speak? I'm pretty sure Samsung doesn't give any info because this TV is so old.
