Samsung PN59D530A3F Plasma wont turn on

Hello,

my samsung plasma would not turn on last week. the red light just kind of clicks every 10 seconds or so.

I pulled the back cover off and found some obvious damage on what I believe is the power supply board.







I'm hoping I can just solder on new parts to replace the burnt up ones? the little round blue part and one next to it look like they need replaced. not sure if the board could have been damaged from this as well?

I found a power supply board on ebay for about 200. not sure if there are cheaper options out there if I do need to replace the whole board.

if so, what parts am I looking at to replace and where can I purchase them from?

do i need to replace all those square black things, or just the round blue one that is burnt up?

or is the burnt up blue one a result of the black square ones not working properly?

I did not watch the entire video, so sorry if that question would have been answered in the video.

found a used power supply board for $115

not sure if its worth just getting this and swapping it out?

doesnt look like those numbers match up exactly with what is on my power supply board, so I guess that rules that one out

If you have the basic skills in using a multimeter and soldering iron then you could have a go at repairing it yourself. Should you be lacking the knowledge and skill then a replacement board may be the best answer.

There are people who can carry out the repair at half the cost of that replacement board if you search on the internet for "BN44-00445C repair"

where do i find the part number for my power supply board?

I get no results when I search for this number that is on the board

which looks like it has the BN44-00445C in the middle of the number.

the one you linked is out of stock. doesnt show a picture of all the parts, just want to make sure that round blue thing that is blown on my board is included in this kit.

Why not message the seller and ask if the 2 ceramic caps and resistor are included in the kit?

hey there goldenmonkey i have the same tv couldnt find a good powersupplly tried a couple from ebay they never worked sent them back finaly swaped it out with a used board from china its out of a 63 in it looks different but works fine just had to adjust the va up to panel sticker value ive been working on this for months finaly fixed however i do have some extra boards (xmain y main lower buffer and logic board)
