Hi,
I have a (about) 7 year old LG 60PK750 plasma that just began to exhibit a green (looks like one pixel) vertical stripe, top to bottom, just left of center. It's always there regardless of input, or menu screen. I tried re-seating the cable from the control board and cleaned the contacts on both ends of the cable - no luck green stripe still there. I also substituted the cable next to it and that also didn't help.
I'd like to keep this TV running and thought that the next logical step would be the control board that the white cables all plug in to.
What do you think? Could it be the panel that's failed? Should I try the control board?
